I think when the kids get older, and they start getting those standard school pictures, we tend to forget to stop and get that family portrait updated! I know I have that issue even in my own family!
I really do get a little twinge of jealousy when a family comes in and I can capture everyone all in ONE frame! :) As it happens all too rarely in my own household.
Think about it...look on your walls...what does your last family portrait look like? Are the hairstyles drastically different? Have the kids started walking since the last one? Maybe it is time for a little update of your own!!!

I love this age! I wish families didn't get caught up with school pictures and remembered to capture the personalities at this age, too! Great images Joy!
